TANG POLO CLUB

The Tang Polo Club, Beijing, was established on the 10th of October, 2010 and is situated near the bank of the beautiful Wenyu River. It occupies an area of 35,000 square meters and contains two international-standard polo fields, 100 individual stables (another 100 stables will be completed in 2012) and a 5,600 square meters indoor arena. Most of the horses are professional polo ponies imported from Australia, Argentina and the United Kingdom, the club also owns a number of polo stallions.

Besides facilities designed especially for polo training and tournaments, the club also has a main clubhouse with an area of 1,000 square meters. The clubhouse features an open-air banquet area, a western-style restaurant with balcony, bar, café, swimming pool, tennis courts, and sauna and steam rooms. The wine cellars, cigar bar, VIP locker rooms are open to members only. Meanwhile, the club has a Boutique Art Hotel, which offers 10 exquisite deluxe rooms and 4 suits as well as a professional horse gear shop which offers a full array of the latest polo equipment and sports apparel. The club also includes a member reception centre which was designed to provide the most exclusive 24 hour services to our members.

The Tang Polo Club devotes itself to the promotion and development of polo, and hosts numerous annual polo tournaments which invite international first-class players, professionals and coaches. The Tang Polo Club has been sponsored by Cartier, Royal Salute, St. Regis, Bentley, BMW and many other luxury brands and has held world class international tournaments such as the “Royal Salute China Open Polo Tournament”, the “Cartier International Polo China Challenge Tournament”, and many others. Through these different sponsor relationships and top international tournaments, Tang Polo Club has established itself as the leading Polo Club in China. The club also regularly hosts numerous other activities for different high end brands in order to introduce to them this new upper-class social platform and in turn help the development of polo in China.
